Default should I sell my FM radio?

Should I sell my FM radio for $150 and go for a cheaper AM radio and a better car?
or should I keep the radio and go for a slightly lesser engine?

This is mostly for recreational purposes.. maybe light racing.. thats it
Any reccomendations?!
Thanks

Default Radio

If you going to race a Good radio will come in handy. You may end up wanting more in a radio than what you got once you start racing.
I say keep what ya got and do some racing to see if you like it and if its enough for you.
Racing brings out all kinds of features on a radio, sometimes things you didnt even know were there.

I suppose I could, but considering the luck I've had with this radio so far, the glue would end up seeping out and into the the pods, then it would be nothing but a paper weight (it ain't much more than that now). Then I wouldn't be able to get Ace to do the warranty work on it. I'll just send to Ace and let them fix it.

grampi,

Let me know how you make out with Ace. I haven't decided whether to even bother with them yet. Do you get your PM's? If you didn't like my offer I'm open to a counter  .

You're about 4 hours late with the offer. I just ordered an Airtronics radio. Thanks anyway.

no problemo just thought someone might get use out of it. The XR3i has a 4 model memory and I only have 3 cars so more than enough. Has anyone seen the new crystaless XRS I think it is. Its just like the XR3i but no need for multiple sets of crystals for racing just change the channel on the radio and reciever and your good to go. I think I might sell both radios and buy this one.

humboldtblazer....Do you have servos to go with that XR3? Why don't you PM me when your on next time and give me a price on that radio/receiver if you don't mind?

Eureka California? Man....we use to race our horses up their years ago. My brother and I just about froze our feet off wading in the ocean in your neck of the woods. We were about 11 and 12 years old. That was some beautiful country as I recall!

Thanks!
