Mark, I really don't have any experience with the Powerbox installation yet since my Bandit is not finished. I was going to do some checking with some of the giant scale guys flying the 40%er's to see if any of them have used a Powerbox or similar yet. I can't imagine why there would be an issue but I am going to ask around before my first flights. I saw Lewis Patton's post where he is using matchboxes with the DX-7. I think it was Lewis anyway...Gary

I am installing a DX7 in my Wren powered AMD Hawk. I am sure it is the way to go but will be putting it into one of my IC models first and pushing her way out.... Cant be too carefull

I heard there were several DX7 systems flying at Superman and they worked flawlessly.

Today i spoke with Emeric from Powerbox .De no problems using powerbox systems with Dx7 he tells me. Fully tested range and usage great i shall now install with new programable unit in my F104 Starfighter 1/5 scale thats 12 ' long with Graupner Booster 160 in for power.
