Default s-maxx 3.3

i was going to put a 3.3 engine in my s-maxx. Do I need to modify my tranny or drivetrain to take on the extra power? Also how do people like the new 3.3 engine from Traxxas?

nope you can leave the tranny and divetrain alone it will hold the power (or at least mine does) i love motor i have almost 7 gallons thru my 3.3. alot of people say its a bad motor, im really lucky or they really aren't that bad. but i have only had trx engines so you might ask someone else about that.

here she is, little dirty but she looks better now

its not a bad engine. It has power IF its perfectly tuned. Mine has one and wheelies.
I could have invested my money in a way better engine.
Its a ok engine if tuned.
