There is something about the civilian jets that just has a classic beauty to them, I love the Lear's, Citations etc, but this one, this one right here just looks like the Ferrari of civilian jets. Whether it is or not I don't know, but I love how it looks, I wish there was an RC kit available of one.

Yes, I agree, this would be a great rc turbine model! Looks are real intriguing. I did see a post by Anton of SM in another thread that he mentioned he was developing a BD-5. I wonder what scale it will be. Ken

I thought this one was made from an RC model. I remember some there was either a thread or a video from the old rcu that featured this plane....but I could be wrong.

I think that is the Vision Aire but im not sure what ever happened to that project, it was a full scale design aswell and I believe that guy had something to do with the full scale company.

This R/C model was done by Paul Appelbaum who also did the R/C BD 10 when he worked at BD Aircraft. I bought a BD 10 kit from him years ago at Superman and wish I still had the kit as it would be perfect for a Wren 44 Gold.

Totally agree Jeremy, it is a beautiful plane. I like civilian jets but that one is sweet. I love T-tails too.

Yeah, I think that was called the visionaire vantage, I remember seeing it in an RCJI a few years ago. Inlets are a little taller, tail is different, it's cool, but the excel jet just looks beautiful :P

Ken,'
that is very interesting. A BD5 from skymaster? What size might it be? Too cool!

I love this jet Jeremy!
