Nylon bolts
See Du-bro cat # 142 1/4 X 2" Nylon Wing Bolts
You can also use an allen wrench on these.
The local Tru- value hardware and Lowe's stocks the smaller sizes but most are pan head.

Nylon bolts
Thanks for the replies. Good source scorpion. I am looking for a head you can use a hex key or wrench on. It is for a cowl on a 29% edge. I am looking for white ones.
Fred, those are exactly what I am looking for, but in white. Picky picky, I know.

RE: Nylon bolts
I buy all my hardware (scews, bolts, etc.) from
http://rtlfasteners.com/RC/a.html
They have a great selection of hardware. I recommend getting some of their servo screws. They work great.
I just bought a bunch of nylon bolts that have socket heads on them. No longer will I punch through my covering when the screw driver slips.

RE: Nylon bolts
MAC's up North carries them in the upholstrey area. They carry the nylon bolts and nylon washers. Priced close too the others listed here but no shipping costs but tax.

RE: Nylon bolts
Try Mcmaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com)
do a search for nylon screws.
You'll find just about anything you need, for a reasonable price ($5-$10 for a pack of 100).
