what engine? what gearing, if it's the nitro star .25 it should wheele with the stock gearing and with the alluminum clutch shoes, just tune the low speed neddle that how i got mine to it was very hard. but this is a chart to help you out, this tuning is used with the high speed neddle http://www.phpbbserver.com/rcworld/v...mforum=rcworld

it is probably the aluminum clutch shoes because the 3-speed even makes stock engine wheely
I think even with the green springs
anyway the Low speed needle gives you more low end and acceleration but only to the limits of your motor if your idle rises to much then you have went to far(lean)
have you tried experimenting with different clutchbells maybe less teeth
I will try and find you the video of a guy tuning his savage

Getting your truck to wheelie is more than just carb tuning. Aside from putting in a more powerful engine, you need more mechanical advantage via the drivetrain and suspension. You can get this via a 3spd trans with its deeper 1st gear, stiffer rear shock preload and a deeper spur gear. Get the 3spd, put a 52T spur on it and double up on the preload clips on all 4 rear shocks. Change these 3 things and you will wheelie more than you want to. The carb tuning needs to be in the ballpark, meaning the truck runs good, but it doesn't need to be meticulously perfect for wheelies-that's just a waste of time because you will spend all day turning the screwdriver in search of that perfect tune. That's not fun.
