electrical interferance???
hi all!!
i have recently bought a savage and when i drive it, the servos seem really sloppy!! i will do full throttle and the servo will open reallyslowly and the steering one sometimes wont even work!! when the engine is off all the servos work perfectly and the response is full and instant.so it cant be batteries and plus i put fresh ones in this morning!! its getting really frustrating now!! and plus there seems to be some sort of dirty (fuel maybe??) liquid coming out of the pull start bit!!
cheers

RE: electrical interferance???
The easy answer is to go buy a nice high torque/high speed servo and put it in for steering and move the stock steering servo to the throttle and *very important* get a high mah hump back rechargable battery to replace the on board 4 pack of AA's. You're probably looking at $110 - $175 for the servo, hump pack and a charger or maybe more if you go with a real nice chargeror really nice servo. You didn't say which Savage it is so there may be other things you can doo too, like a better servo saver.
The gunk coming out the PS is pretty normal. It's unburnt castor oil from the fuel. If it's coming out the PS you may notice that your owb starts to slip. Not a big deal, just take it off and clean it up.
