carb body of savage 25
ok well i just traded this truck and the carb isnt actually stock in the engine , wat can i do to make it stick in the engine so there are no air leaks , just a certain compound i put in there or wat ?

im not sure how poorly the fit is, but generally you seal the carb with some gold gasket sealer. If it isn't the right carb, don't waste your dough on trying gett the wrong part to work. You probably can find a savage carb on ebay.. just do a search on ebay for savage 25 carb.. should find a good deal

its the same carb for the truck it just wasnt sitting in there from when i got it off the kid so yes it is the right carb

sorry but when i first did the original post i meant to put stuck not stock so thats why u guys think it is the wrong carb.... it is the right carb i just suck at spelling clearly haha

well i dont know if its worth it to even try and put my carb back on because it seems that when i took the cooling heads off that the engine has been ran pretty harsh by the previous owner ... might really have to consider a rebuilt savage
