Flat-sided wheels ??
Just bought some new wheels for my MST and found that each has a pronounced flat side. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I had started to glue the tires and was checking the fitment ..... Is this typical? My stock wheels were perfectly round and this is the first time I've bought new ones. Should I be torqued off, trying to correct them, or just ignore it ???
Forgive my ignorance, but I'm just getting back into the hobby, and this is my first high end nitro truck .....
Thanks

RE: Flat-sided wheels ??
Wheels or tires? I wouldn't want wheels that are out of round. Tires would not be that big a deal as they should relax out in a day or so.
Or are you talking about "dish" style wheels where the outer part is pretty flat and the inside is deep?
Pictures would help us tell you if what you have is the way it should be.

It's the wheels, I don't have a picture right now. They are kyosho ten spoke inferno st-r wheels. I've got the buggy shafts and 17 mm hubs. I didn't notice until I rotated them on the hub. Imagine the shape of a slightly flat tire, without the tire .....

RE: Flat-sided wheels ??
Thanks you all for the input. It is the rims themselves not related to the tires/foams as it is most obvious when the wheel is bare. Considering the tires I'm using, it may not be an issue, especially since I'm just bashing and working on my control skills. The seller is working it out with me ..........
Thanks
