RE: xtm mammoath-need help!!!!!!
with a little inginuity i'm sure you could get some of the parts to work for you. do you really want to lock your diffs up and essentially ruin them for use in the mammoth? nitro motor is a large challenge, not impossible from what i've read, so you'll need to switch to electric. unfortunately it has a center diff (or 2 speed set-up) that will have to be modded or discarded and replaced with a tranny of some sort
you could use the towers for your chassis. it has all dogbones and cvd's so those are good to use. building up axles might be a little tricky but something could be done, a simple lock out system shouldn't be that hard. it has some heavy duty rod ends that will work well, but you'll need a few more of them. the links themselves are decent too, but, you'll need more of them.
there are several parts you could use so it is quite possible. but add up time, money, parts, and the lose of a decent nitro truck, and in my opinion you'ld be better off to buy a TLT and start from there
just my $.02
