You get what you pay for.... want to be theap? Make your own goo cleaner... use a chicken stick.... finish your plane with inexpensive paints or covering or build your own plane instead of buying an arf, but buy the best servos and radio gear in general you can. Is there a difference between name brand and x-brand? Yes and it is huge. Differences you will notice between off brands and JR or Futaba is the ability to a) center, b) holding power and c) reliability. You might be able to get by without the best of a&b, however, you only get one chance with C IMHO. The cheapest servos I ever use are HiTec(it is rare I use anything other than JR or FUTABA) though others will surely be hold opposite opinions. Good luck.

If you haven't already done so, run a search on your plane. I'm sure you will find lots of people with that plane. There will be plenty of information about what they are using too!
