Default faberic covering question

Just a quick question on covering with fabric. If I attach the fabric with nitrate dope, Can I then use water based polyurethane to to fill the weave? Has anyone tried this?

Default faberic covering question

There is a thread in the "scale" section on the Nelson paint products. They are a water based brush on paint that can be used to fill the fabric. I have never used this product but it sounds like something that I will try.
