Default slipper clutch

Hey guys,
I have a revo 3.3 with the picco 26 maxx. My slipper clutch keeps coming lose after about a min of driveing. Is there a way to rig it to make it stay tight or what is the best upgrade I can get for it?

When you tighten it, is there any tension on the spring?

What spring? Is there supposed to be one in between the nut and the gear?

hey it looks like the beveled washes might be bad or the lock nut is warn out from being moved.

traxxas mekes a clutch rebuild kit or you can just gey the parts by them self.

also you could locktite the nute on the clutch but dome people will start to yell at me sence i told you about that i no someone always does. but it works i did it on my tmaxx got rid of my slipper componets and just maked it a direct drive. bassicaly

Thanks, Im gonna order the parts but I hate buying factory traxxas stuff, there has to be something better out there.
Ill use the locktite for now just so I can drive this weekend. Hopefully it will hold and wont cause any other problems.

Thanks for the help fellas

The spring doesn't look like a normal one. It looks like two small washers that are dished slightly. They are important because they provide even pressure on the clutch. If you don't use the springs and just tighten the nut, either the clutch will be too tight and not do it's job or the screw will loosen. And when you install them be sure the dish parts face each other. Good luck.

I just run mine tightened all the way, about 2.5 years later still no problems. But I am running Robinson gears front to back.
