Installing COMPLETE X SS Diffs into Savage 25
I'm way too broke to tackle it just now, but my next big project may be to resurrect my poor old Savage 25, with some Chronic (fully extended, and lowered, I hope..) TVP's, and most importantly, X SS diffs. Savagejim(or anybody else..), you seem pretty encyclopedic about these things - what EXACTLY do you need to do this? From the metal cups to bumper posts, etc.. I think a complette list with part numbers would be useful, not only for me but for others too.. Thanks.
(I'm asking now cuz in the next couple of months I want to keep an eye out for cheap parts to do it..)
ps I think the easiest(and prob cheapest) way to do it would be to just order complete X SS diffs from a chopped kit, but then you need different pins, bumper posts, etc... Right??
