Ok guys i brok down and bought the t-maxx 3.3, and i just got my first prob!

I just got done with the brake in and all is goiing smooth, i head out the the street to do alittle bashing and all is going fine, and then it cut out, so i walked over to it and i noticed that the plug was cocked to the side abit, so i took off the plug wire and wen the plug wire came out, the plug was still attched to the wire, aprt of the head broke off wen the plug came out.

So i just called traxxas and they were no help i " it must have been user error, are trucks are not made to be drivin hadr on the street, if u wanted a street truck u should of gottin the jato, sorry we can help u with the we can sell u a new head if u wan. i said no thanks its ok bye.

This is why i stayed away from traxxas in the first place because of stupid thing like this!

This is were i need u guys, i need a new cooling head for the engine, i don't care is its used or is missing the black head cap.
I only got $5-$10, so any of u guys got an old one laying around?

the problem was buying the t-maxx.. j/k

but that doent sound anything like traxxas.. call again for a different person

i mean when i broke a rear shock cap on my revo i called them up and told them the rear shock cap was lekaing oil.. sent me a pack of gtr shocks in the mail for free[:-]

Well i will try it again!

I had a problem with traxxas sevral years ago but i decided to take ah chane again my luck this happend.!


But ya if anybody has an extra one this would rellay help! just pm me!

well icalled traxxas again and here is what they said


It is in possible for that to happin it has to be user error, out tech guys has never in staled a plug in the wrong way ever, u must have installed it wrong, i said its the factory plug! thtas in possible!

So anybody outthere got a head for me?

Yeah, i've got one lying around after my 3.3 blew a main bearing. Its a little chewed up from the shrapnel but it should work. Sounds like your cooling head wasn't tightned down from the factory and it ran really lean and fried the glow plug and made the head brittle from the heat and cracked it.

I learned this lesson also on my new O.S .18TM. Thank god only fuel leaked out before I shut it off. TIGHTEN DOWN YOUR COOLING HEAD SCREWS.

Eh, im pretty broke atm after my Revo spending spree, so if you wanna mail me a box with a return label, you can have it. Hell I'll throw in the rest of the engine if ya want.

NOooooo,ok i had made a post before because i needed a head because mine crapped out,and i asked if anyone had one and some admin sent me an email sayin that theres a marketing section for that and he deleted my post,so i told python about it and he said make another one and i said i didnt wanna get into trouble with the admins,he said ok then ill do it for you.

lol, why would he try and screw you out of a box with a return label. He just doesnt want to pay shipping which I dont blame him. Go for it.
