"NEW" Dumas Atlas Van Lines U-1 wood kit
Hi,
I found a kit I bought 30 years ago and it is in perfect shape. The finished 36" long with a beam of 16", and there is no motor or hardware kit for it, just the plywood construction kit. The problem is I have no idea what this is worth. Can someone out there give me an idea of what to ask for this?

Not having a hardware kit is actually a good thing since Dumas hardware is usually on the low end of the quality scale. As for how much it's worth, that's like asking how much a house is worth. It all depends on how much the buyer is willing to pay and how much the seller is willing to take

I got a guy at my lake who got that kit given to him 8 years ago by a guy who had it sitting around for years. He finally built it and it's got an OPS 60 in it with Speedmaster hardware. Very light boat! He's going thru prop issues, so I don't know what it's got on it now. Brian

MrMikeG - It's my boat in the pic Bmad01 posted a pic of, Mine is the .67 size 48" - 1/8th scale , not the 36".45 size like the one referenced. It is heavy in the back and still trying to get it to plane out.
modifyit15 - My 1/8 scale complete with fuel is only 10.25 lbs. Make sure you build the back light, put electronics in the front. Do not go off of the plans.
Good luck with it
