Elevator halves & prop.
The elevator halves on my mustang are slightly off about 1/16".
Question 1. How much will this effect the airplane ?
2. Is there any way to make them right other than re-setting one half which I don't like to do ?
I've had to do this several times with ailerons on my trainer & they never seem to hold.
Question 3 is on props. Does anybody know of a company that makes scale props for 40 size mustangs ?
Thanks, TGC

RE: Elevator halves & prop.
1 - It depends on the type of airplane and your flying style. If you're a beginner, or intermediate flier, it won't matter much. If you fly precision aerobetics, it will matter.
2 - You could try bending them by hand, but your results will be unpredictable.
3 - A mustang has a 4-blade prop. I don't know of anyone who makes a scale prop for a 40 size Mustang, but even if you found one, you wouldn't want to fly with it (It would only be used for static display) because when scaled down to the small size we use, a 4-blade prop becomes very inefficient.

RE: Elevator halves & prop.
Sorry its taken so long to answer the questions. Unfortunetly I've got alot of irons in the fire.
Anyway, it's the PTS mustang. I've had her up with an APC 11x6 four blade and flew ok but it pulls alot of air. Looked close to scale. Was just wondering if there were any other manufacturers. I figure a 12x4 would be real nice but haven't found anyone who makes one.
I know I'm going out of bounds but again unfortunetly for me, I worked on full scale warbirds for 8 yrs and I get goofy over details.
Trying to have scale and keep in a 40 size at the same time. I think I'm trying to do the imposable though.
