Oregon RC PRO Nitro off-road series
Hey everybody, I just wanted to give ya some info about the new Oregon RC Pro series.
Round 1
April 1st

Mike, you have my congratulations on (so far) pulling this thing off. Well done! I don't know of anyone else that had the gumption to get it done!
The April 1st date really is wishfull thinking
And I wish you would have chosen one of our club race dates as an alternate instead of Mother's Day - I know I can't race on that day, it would break my mom's heart. Is it too late to change the alternate day to an RCSX club race day? The club is going down the toilet anyway - RD's are too scarce and it isn't fair to Richard to make him RD everytime. Once the CG track is done he will have about 75% less time to dedicate to the club and its track anyway. When that happens, the club will go away very quickly. Darrin's gone, Hood is probably gone, Richard will have very little time... Half of the 'steering committee' is either no longer around or is about to be gone. It's sad, but I guess that is the way these things go. It is always around half a dozen or so people that do all the legwork, and if they go away so does the club.
I guess my point is that you should not feel guilty about 'taking away a club race' that may not happen anyway. For instance, July 8th would probably be a good date as an alternate!
