Need help understanding how to upgrade a brake system
I just got a JATO 3.3 as my first car and have just about completly broken the engine in. However, I realy think that i need to upgrade the brake system so that i can stop it in less than 20- 25 feet in a straight line. At the moment i have to slow it down from under top spead for about ten feet and then skid it to a stop or a flip the truck. If anyone could tell me how to understand changing brake system that would be great.

If you can get the truck to lock up the tires or skid then better brakes arent going to make you stop faster. You are going to need stickier tires or learn threshold braking.

What will make your jato stop faster is turning down the brakes. Locking them up is making it go father than you want. I think it was Issic Newton that said "an object in motion wants to stay in motion"
Turn down the brakes so they don't lock up
or do what I did - get a radio with ABS (anti-lock brakes) I have an on road that if the wheels lock up the car just spins 360
