Question on servos T-maxx
I have a cirrus cs-80 metal gear steering servo. Not the greatest but works fine. The case is trashed but the guts are good. I can't seem to find a replacement case to buy only a picture http://www.globalhobby.com/public/gallery/444875.asp My question is will the guts fit in a stock 2055 case??? Or, should I just buy a hitech 645 like alot of people have done?

I'd say its worth a shot to fit it in the stock casing. It might be diffrent tho. wors comes to worse it wont fit and you'll buy a new servo. Was there a warrenty or anything on it?

RE: Question on servos T-maxx
The servo had a 1 year on it and that's past. The servo I had is discontinued. Guess I need a decent priced steering servo that uses stock electronics, is the 2055 ok? I bought my T-maxx used and never used one.

RE: Question on servos T-maxx
The 2055 is stock isn't it? you could use that but it has plastic gears inside the servo nd only has 65 oz of torque. Or you can get a hitec steering servo like [link=http://www.hobbieguyrc.com/shop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=17267&category_ id=257]this one(clicky)[/link] which has 107 oz. of torque and is faster. The gears inside are also metal. for the price its really worth it. I think it has a warrenty also but im not sure.
