Yes. The K4.6 should be a much better and faster truck.
It can be good to have a backup truck if your main truck is down, or, depending how bashed up your 25 is, as a part spender....

If you have a savage 25, its well worth the cost to get the new version. You dont have any of the X chassis parts? You should have those its sooo much easyer to change the diffs out and the spur gear.
That combined with the 4.6 powerplant, i would say yes, for sure, make the purchase your going to love it..

THAT is not yet clear.. Nobody has run the F4.6 though..
If you have the option of selling the 25 to your dad, then it's a no-brainer - get the 4.6X...
Is it better than the X SS kit?? THAT is a tough call...

i believe they are the same. If you read the specs they produce the same power throughout the RPM range. However i believe that the included pipe on the RTR model will hinder its low end power.
Seems like its a F4.1 head with the even older header/pipe combo from the S25.
We really wont know until it arrives. But ill venture to say that its going to be the same power feel as the K version.
