Rc 10gt ?
Thanks for the replys to my last post a few days ago.I put the 4n 1 clutch in with 20 percent nitro and a new plug.
I got to run a tank of gas out of my RC10GT team edition truck today its got the .12 CV motor on it.Thing runs great what kind of power does this motor make? How much more power does the CV X make, would it be worth getting that motor?I just play around in parking lots dirt etc..
Also do they make a two speed trans for the GT.What about a bigger than .12 motor what one will bolt on?Thanks guys

Rc 10gt ?
Welcome to the RC 10GT world. You'll soon find out there's a whole world full of hop up parts for the RC 10, and engines are just one of many things you can replace to make it faster. If I remember correctly, yours has the red head CV, correct? I think that engine makes around .5-.6 hp. It's on the milder side. The CV-R's are the engines that really start crankin' out the power. The .12 makes around 1 hp, while the .15 makes 1.2 hp. Fantom and Traxxas make some wicked .15's, both are right around 1.35 hp, and if you want the most power cubic inch, the Rossi's crank out almost 2 hp, but all that power comes at a price. I have the Fantom .15 and I just finished breaking it in. If we could ever get a break in the weather here, I'd tune it in and see what she's really got.
