so I went to my lhs today with intentions of buying an os 18 for my revo. I looked in the display case and there was one in there so i would be able to walk out of there with it. The owner of the store wasn't there so I asked one of the guys that work there how much it was and he didn't know so to the computer. First of all, it said that they didn't even have one in stock yet there it was. Second, when he looked up the cost it was listed a 299.99[X(]. I was pretty much hahahaha....no. And it wasn't for the eb mods one. So the owner showed up and looked around on the computers for about 15min then finally told me 209.99. Better but still to high (cad dollars). I can get one for cheaper in the states. I was just wondering how much other canadians paid for them and if anyone knows of a site that sells os .18tm's at a decent price that will accept pay pal (tower won't and me father does not like ebay) then i won't have to drive across the border.

He'd probably take a hit on tarriff, which is probably why the prices are on the high side.

Off the top of my head I think the LHS had 180 on the box..I was actually looking to price a .26 and saw the .18 in the case.

I just picked up an OS 18TM at PM Hobbies in Calgary for $179.99 CDN plus GST.

Last week in Vegas at 2 different stores they were about $229.00 US.

I bought mine from Tower Hobbies for $149 minus $30 coupon came to $119, had it shipped to Package Express and I went across the border to pick it up. The lhs here in town had theirs for $299 CAD too.

my lhs charges $360 AUS for them, a sirio .27 there is 400 so they're ripping people off big time.

hey vps.ryder i say that $209.99 is not that bad i know it is not the best deal around but it is good to give your LHS some $$$ if you and most of the other people around you got all there stuff off of the net you would not have a LHS

I know its not the same motor, but it still is reflective of the cost differential between our countries.

I scooped a Picco .26 for CAD $229 at Great Hobbies in Edmonton.

I was pretty happy paying that for an on hand motor(Not ordered in).

an O.S .18 is sold at my lsh for $360, the TRX 3.3 is $340, compared to way way less then half that in the U.S (although my lhs ripps everyone off coz they can, i buy all the parts i can from e bay)

Im kicking myself in the nuts today because I let a used one go on ebay the other day for $60. It looked brand new and he said it had less than a gallon in it. I just assumed it would go to $100 so I didn't try to win it. My LHS sells them for $249.99. [sm=eek.gif] I can get the EB Mod version from Tower for about that much.
