Default nylint crawler

does the 1:6 nylint crawler steer in the back as well as the front, and does it have a motor for both the front and rear axel, or is it possible to make the rear steer? or would you need to just ditch the nylint and just get a chassis wih clod axels and go from there?

Only the front steers, but there's two seperate motors. It might be easy to put a "front axle" in the rear for steering.

you're better off going with clod chassis and axles

Go with the clod axles. Nylints are slowing becoming obsolete. Clod axles are alot better and you can do pretty much anything with them!

I want to build a crawler but i dont really want to spend $500 on a crawler, if i could get a decent chassis and clod axels or tlt axels for a good deal then i would just do that, but im not looking to pay $100+ just for a chassi or $100+ for axels. What do you all think of the axial scorpion, im about to pre order one from RCC for $258 all it requires is like a esc remote battery charger, i think it comes with everything else, should i just do that?

I ordered a scorpion, and thaey look like a perfect budget crawler, all you need is an esc, a servo( or 2 if you want four wheel steering), a radio and 7.2v battery + charger. Im just going to my lhs to get all that. I've done my research on the scorpion and I'd recomend it.
