Default I Need With Help AX10 Scorpion Build

I am new to the RC Rock Crawling Industry, and I need a few pointers. First of all I just put in an order for a AX10, and I need to know what you all would suggest to complete the build. I bought what the website suggested. I just dont know what I really need.

This is what I bought that was suggested.

* Tower Hobbies 6-Cell 7.2V 1500mAh Stick Standard NiCd
* DuraTrax Streak Forward/Brake Hi-Frequency ESC J
* Futaba 2DR 2-Channel AM/2 S3003 Servos
* Team Orion 27T Double Method Motor

Thank you for the help. Oh yeah make sure you put things so I can undestand them, cause I am new to the whole thing. I have done some research though.

You will ideally want a better battery than that, Epic 3000mah for $18
esc, a lot of people are using the Tekin Rebel
You'll probably want a 55t lathe motor...I know integy makes one

I would actually suggest a better servo like a tower pro 995 or 945. A hitec 645mg is also good. Those Futaba 3003 just dont have enough yank and are loaded with platics gears. I also would have gone with a integy lathe motor. On the rocks, torque is what you need!!! Other than that, take pics, and put some bb's in those wheels!!!!

the rebel and a 55X is a good option, but you can also look at a brushless setup as your starting fresh.
someting like the HH Revolver 2 or the HH 3071 hooked up to a mamba25 or quark 33 is going to be a great option in that truck.

and you will want better batteries for sure. Lipos are nice but not needed as the weight from the sub-c packs is a good thing.

and you will for sure need to up that servo. the 645MG is a good choice.

That battery is junk (NICDs suck), I use 2/3 A Elite 1500s on all of my competition crawlers. http://cheapbatterypacks.com/main.as...urer=2&model=2
ESC - Try the in-expensive Bravo VR16 MOPED, I used one for a long time. Best part is they are under $40.00 shipped! http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...C1&log_pid=yes
For an in-expensive radio, try to find a TQ3 off the bay, I picked a few up for under $20.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-TRAXXAS-T-MA...QQcmdZViewItem
Motor, Integy 55 turn lathe motor. http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...C1&log_pid=yes

Every part I listed is under $40.00 a piece and will be more than adequate for crawling.
