Default engine after 1.5 gals

hey i just wanna show you guys my engine after 1.5 gallons of fuel...and tell me if its looking good.

top of my piston. a little baked and brown on the top. this pic was taken right after i took the engine head off. lots of dirt around the sleeve but not inside. looking good?

engines head. like i said, a bunch of dirt around the sleeve and copper washer.

took off the backplate and found a bunch of fuel residue (yellow stuff...which is odonnel fuel) i did ARO procedure after everytime i drove it. is this looking good?

and lastly, the backplate. lots of yellow gunk....

Looks good! That little chunk on the piston is loose right? Get rid of it before putting it back together. The yellow is ok, its just glazing from afterrun oil or the oil in the fuel.

yeah, that piece of dirt fell off the engines head while i was taking it apart...ill take it off but is it THAT bad to have little chunks of dirt fall on the piston? i few weeks ago, i was doing ARO and when i took the glowplug out, some mud fell in. i was like "oh poop......ahh..whatever..." and later i put a mighty load of ARO on the piston.....

its not the falling onto the piston that ruins an engine, its all the dirt particles grinding inbwtween the sleeve and piston when runnin, theres a small tolerance between this fit, and when it gets worn down so much thats when u loose compression etc. just think the damage a grain of dirt or sand can do when the piston is grinding it at 30,000 rpm

a little tip, ALWAYS clean the outside of your engine before you take it apart.

oh yeah, while im here ive got a question. how do you test for compression or pinch? on my engine, when the engine head is off, the piston at TDC has barely any pinch. i could turn the flywheel with one finger and the piston gets a very little squeeze at TDC. on the other hand, if the engine head is on and its all sealed, i could barely move the piston past TDC with one finger. so, i have an engine that has good compression with barely any pinch at TDC. is this good? btw my engine is running perfect (except that it gets hot near the end of the tank..still cant fix that prob)
thanks
