Terra Crusher, TMaxx, Ofna Pirate.. Most will cost around 400$ RTR though, but you could go with TMaxx sport, 1 spd 2wd for around 300$ instead of 400$.. save u some money there.

oh ya for the reveres thing, Terra Crusher comes with reverse on a 2ch radio, you have to upgrade tmaxx for reverse (im pretty sure) and i forget if pirate has it.. not looking in my RCCA atm. My fav though is Terra Crusher.

The T-Maxx has reverse stock w/ a 3-channel radio installed.

Just in clarification,
Kevin

if you've got a hobby shop near by, look for a used one... i've bought 2 tmaxx's, both were under 200 bucks used- one wouldn't start cause the previous owner didn't know how to put a new glow plug in it when the old one went bad, and the other one's body was so ugly that no one wanted it..but the chassis was like new!!! ..(both even came w/gallon of fuel)
both traxxas and hpi make good trucks , i own both and there's tons and tons of aftermarket parts and support for both..
if your not real familiar w/nitro, hpi 's single mixture needle is real easy to learn the basics of nitro tuning...maybe not as efficient or good as hi/lo speed needles, but much easier to learn and get going quick...and with the right tune even faster than some...my friends will testify to this...
tmaxx's have one nice advantage, the little onboard starter is sooo nice if you just want to fill and go...just plug it in and the motor turns over and heats the glowplug and blam your running!!!
