ofna engine

RE: ofna engine
Unless you dont have cash I wouldnt advise it. Its a mediocre engine thats decently reliable. Although any decent .28 will run circles around it. Get an Axial .28, STS .28-.30, XTM 457, SH.28, LRP .28. All of those should outpower and outspeed the Ofna .32[8D]

If all you want to do is upgrade the engine and not have to worry about the drivetrain i would go with the axial 28. The most you would need is some dif cups and maybe some alloy shoes to put all the power to the wheels.

RE: ofna engine
All these guys telling you its not a good engine ,obviously have never ran it.
As far as running circles around it ,I dont think so,they may be a hair faster ,but not alot.
I have a ofna 32,and an STS D30m rev2.
The ofna has more bottom end...I have not ran side by side yet,but ofna 32 49/17 3 speed vs sts 30 47/17 2 speed.
Its close to close to call without running side by side.
The OFNA is an excellent engine especially for the price, and it holds a tune like no other.
