Tmaxx transmission
Just want to know the difference between the 2.5 non opti drive tranny and the 3.3 opti drive tranny. I would like to know if I can swap in a 3.3 tranny in place of my 2.5 tranny

I want to say yes you can only because I did the reverse, I installed a 2.5 tranny into a 3.3 tmaxx. I diddnt even change the clutch bell on the engine. Im sure you will need to re-gear it to work properly ie: getting the engine close enough to the sper gear using the right clutch bell/sper gear sizes...
