It doesn't come with a center diff stock, so unless you have one, no you don't need to lock anything up. and if you want to make it permanent you will need to take out the front and center driveshafts, the diff, and cut the spindles off the driveshafts.

Ok, but it looks as if I take the front and center driveshaft out the disk brake has to come with it.

Just rear wheel drive will make the engine over rev and cause it to get hot.

And from my understanding and experience, destroy the rear diff... not to mention the drifting effect you'll get when trying to even steer under power...

trust me wheelies get old and 2wd sucks. my driveshaft fell out at the last race and turning with just 1/4 throttle is impossable on lose dirt. even on concrete the 2wd causes more understeer than you would beleive. I dont recomend it.

I agree with the guys that say don't do this. I did it to my REVO for about a whopping 5 minutes. The truck would wheelie at idle almost.....and was too uncontrollable with my RB modded 3.3 anyways and just sucked. I put it back to factory specs and all is great again.

Why are you interested in going two wheel on it anyways? Just get a JATO for that.

you won't break anything, and it won't go any faster. Anybody remember the S-maxx, it's a T-maxx with rear wheel drive only, they don't go an faster, or burn up diffs any faster than a T-maxx. and to solve the brake issue, you could either cut the end off the front center driveshaft, or buy the rear brake kit. you might not think it's fun to do donuts or uncontrollable wheelies, but some people do, and that's why they make the jato.

Anybody remember the S-maxx, it's a T-maxx with rear wheel drive only
keep in mind that the gear ratios are differant.
