Does anyone know of a 1/10 scale 4x4 truck that has a three speed transmission? I want to do some custome work. I know the savage has one but its to big.

The Menace .21 has 3 speed. The savage has an upgrade for the 2 speed tranny to become a 3 speed.

But isn't the third gear on the Savage used for reverse?

No. The savage has a 3 speed as an option and a reverse module as another option. But he already said in the first post that he doesn't want a savage transmission.

hey x5t1j..i just baught a kyosho mad force..it comes with a 3 speed transmission..and trust me..it is fast!!!!
we compared it to an HPI savage 3.5,we raced..i won like 3 times..even when the guy "jump-started"
plus,its WAY lighter than the savage! it weights 4.2 KG,u do the math! thats around 9LBS though

the guy baught an HPI savage X today..he says its payback time,we'll see what happens and i'll let u know buddy! haha

the mad force aint that fast, put it up agaisnt a propper race truck like my lst (which is 2 speed) and it will lap you.

as for the menace, yes its a 3sp 4 wd car. pretty nice but a bit weak. owned one and the 21xtr 3e and wasn't too impressed

I believe that there is a conversion available for the T-Maxx and Revo transmissions to make them 3 speed but it's kind of pricey. Both of those trucks are 4x4 and closer to 1/10 scale than the Savage.

Ya its made by rad racing. I sent them two e-mails and left them phone calls and they never responded. I want to put it in my revo with a modded picco. Or swap out the tranny with one from another truck that has a three speed in it. khayyat do you have a link to your truck?
