Default 1/6 scale cars

I cant help but notice that it seems to be impossible to find an electric 1/6 scale car that is hobby grade. If there are, someone please put me in the right direction. I know there are a few out there but most cost way way too much money. Like for an example, here is a 1/6 electric car that is ok quality and is cheap but will only go 22 mph max. http://store.nascar.com/product/inde...entPage=family

VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YCEp2CU2Tg

this is actualy a good car and is hobby grade. So my point is where in hell are the 1/6 scale electric cars that do 30mph and 35mph+?

there arent any. only thing you could do (and will be very very expensive) is get an fg sportsline, a huuuge brushless motor, a lot of custom work and power it by a lipo battery. you would be talking $2000 minimum to do that though

your best bet is to ask [link=http://www.finedesignrc.com/default.htm]this guy[/link] to make you one

It's a hobby. Used to be when somebody wanted something to run they would just make it themselves. When my dad got me into the hobby the only way to get an rc vehicle was to get a set of plans (or work from your own ideas) and make it from scratch. RTR's were nonexistant and kits were very hard to find and expensive too. I built my first "scratch" model when I was 12. It was a nitro powered air boat.

If you're willing to spend the money, the quality is exceptional:

P.S. 1 Euro = $1.3625
