Default Changing a 27mhz radio to 35mhz

I have returned to the UK from living in Japan. I got into RC over there and have Futaba 3PM FM 27mhz radio gear which I bought there. I have some 1/18th cars Id like to buy RX crystals for to use the same radio with, but cant seem to find 27mhz FM crystals in the UK.
If I put 35mhz crystals in both the TX and RX will it work? or do I have to buy a whole new radio set up?
Thank in advance

Default RE: Changing a 27mhz radio to 35mhz

Will not work and may not be legal there. Get a 2.4GHz system as they are legal everywhere and MUCH better then any other system.
