t-maxx 2.5 to a 3.3
What would I have to buy other than the engine to put a 3.3 into my 2.5 t-maxx? i dont want a different motor cuz I can get the 3.3 for dirt cheap. Just want to know what I need to install one.

Nothing else is needed. Everything that you take off the 2.5 will fit and work properly on the 3.3. It is a direct and easy swap-out.

RE: t-maxx 2.5 to a 3.3
I did the swap last month and it is indeed very very easy. And when everyone says its a direct replacement that is true. I did have to get a metal brake after a few runs because with all that speed the stock 2.5 fiberglass brake disc just comes apart. But for moneys sake just run the stock until it's used up and then have the 3.3 carbon fiber or a metal brake ready to swap out. The brake is also very easy to change.
Good Luck and let us know how it works out!
