Default Are these initial settings good for my savage x ss?

The radios is switched on for my savage x ss and the engine is off. At neutral point on transmitter the car does not easily move freely but the moment throttle is applied, the brakes release and the car can roll forward. If brakes is applied on transmitter the car stops. When engine is on, the same will occur. Also i'm in the process of breaking in the engine-heat cycle method. Are these settings correct? I just want to be sure...

No, it should be completely free rolling when no brake or throttle is applied (in neutral) otherwise you will melt the brakes or at the very least make them so hot they won't work. Just undo the screw thing at the end of the brake linkage toward the front of the car until it rolls freely.
