Default Hello Guys

Hey Guys! I am new to the RC scene and new to this website. First of all my name is bee and I am 19 yrs old. I jus bought a Tamiya "Black Foot" ford truck. The lady said she did not have a charger for it but she says it runs. I pickd it up for 20 bucks. and it comes with a Futaba Magnum Sport Controller/transmitter. I want to ask you what charger should i get for this bad boy. The battery it came wit is a Sanyyo Cadnium Battery. Thanks guys!

Do you have any pictures of it? Is this what you got: http://www.bayhobbies.co.nz/images/Blackfoot.jpg
Get a 7.2v pack and the charger.

Best thing to do is get a pair of 3000ma batteries ( about 33 bucks at my LHS) so you can run it for a while with some power and you can get a small peak charger for about 45 and your set

Peak charger charges the battery as much as it can so none of the battery capacity is uncharged. If you get two packs then one can charge while your driving the other.

Dude, that is a sweet RC you picked up for $20.00 It is amazing what you can get for not to much money because it is missing a part. In my sig it says that I have a Radio Shack avalanch, picked it up for $5.00 with no transmitter but it came with a battery charger.. Good looking, mini t

just to confirm with Andrew a Pair of batteries that i put in a previous post does consist of 2 battery packs

you did get a great deal I tried to find stuff like that all the time. I walked up to a yard sale 3 weeks ago and a guy was walking away with an old tamiya bruiser missing the radio gear for the truck but complete with original manual he bought it for $15.00 i immediately offered him $50 the $100 but he would not take it damn me for sleeping in!

Hey guys update!

Car is running> took the bottom apart where the motor hits the gears and completely reasembled it. Also swapped in a new reciever and controller. The servos are in great condition. The only thing is the gears are loud. and sometimes falls off track. I was wondering what i can do so that they wont fall off track? thanks!
