RE: RC flight sim
Lots of flight sims out there. The best free one would be FMS. As Andrew said there are a couple nice "for pay" ones as well.
I use FMS, but since I have a ParkZone plane I don't have a standard Transmitter. This means that I would have to control a flight sim with my keyboard.
So rather than buying some special Transmitter or buddy box, or wiring some weird USB thing up... I just bought Esky's FMS package that comes with a transmitter style device with a USB plug on it. It only cost me $20. For that money I got a CD with the latest version of FMS on it, and the controller... which is designed for a computer... completely plug'n'play with no hassles. You can find them on Ebay.
