Default Nitro or Electric for Noob!

Im new to rc and want my first rc, im looking at the rc10b4 for electric or rc10gt2 or hpi firestorm for nitro.
Now with me knowing nothing expect what i read here everyday, is electric easier to start with, cause it seems like it.
All the tuning and stuff for nitro seems like a hassle and i just want to race.

if your looking for something thats gonna be mainly hassle free, go with the electric. now if your brave and adventurous with a godd mechanical set of hands then try the nitro, it's more tedios and involved than electric but the vehicals are way more fun.

For nitro you just need to read a little more info and by a couple more things and after that it is easy.

Unless you want to spend a lot of money on batteries or do not mind weighting in between runs go nitro. I have both but run my nitro MUCH more often.

but the vehicals are way more fun. nitros arent way more fun there just more fun stock
but electrics are really more fun except for the waiting for
the batteries to charge
go with electric for a first if u just wanna get into the hobby
then if you wanna go faster put a modified motor or brushless!

personally i just started running r/c cars myself and my first car was an on road exceed ultra nitro...the only difficult part was the break in process but after that is done, which really only takes a few days running a couple hours a day...after that you just have to keep up on the clenliness of the car so the motor doesnt get to dirty which isnt that hard just take a air hose and blow off most of the dirt and then take WD-40 and a rag and get the oil that came from the exhaust...other than that they are a blast i run mine every chance i get

Electric is easier to maintain. Batteries can be a hassle, but so can buying more nitro fuel periodically. I don't mind the ~ $30-45 for a battery. A fast peak charger can be had at around $50, so an electric only needs a one time $80 payment to ensure continued driving. I would recommend nitro if you want the vehicle to make realistic engine sound and produce exhaust with acceleration. However, other than that, I would go electric.

Which do YOU want more. They both have there pros and cons. Just pick what you REALLY want. I promise you will be fine either way. As long as you take it slow and read all directions.
