kerosene tank overflow
Hello again
Where do you put the forward facing fitting for the air pick up on the fuel system so that it doesn't stand out and look like a sore thumb?
I'm finishing the F22 and would hate to ruin the looks. If anyone has a picture of their set up it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

kerosene tank overflow
Hi Peter
I used to put the overflow vent on the bottom of the fuse but found that it was not always the best location when you wnated to put the fuse down flat on the ground. ( ie wings off / retracts up etc ). So now I place it on the side of the fuse just aft of the leading edge of the wing. This way it
doesn't snag anything
allows the fuse to rest flat on the ground
easy push / pull access for tubing manipulation of O.F. tank
can be made to look like an instrument probe ( pitot tube etc ).
Remember to bevel the front face a little to assist in positive pressure to the your " final " on-board tank.
