Hi, RC Jetaddics,

We flew Saturday last week Rookie with J600 on board. Runway is reclamated area in west coast. Runway condition was partly rough but could secure around 50 meters flat for take off. Rookie took off with around 30 meters from full stream with brake on. Manuver is quite stable and predictable whilst experiencing bit senstive aileron. She was very fast and has fast roll.

We had dog fight with my Enforcer with Wren54. Rookie was faster in the sky because we believe of better aerodynamics. Rookie was nearly 9.5kg with 2 liters fuel and my Enforcer was 6 kg with fuel. Two jets sounded like air show and attracted many weekend manias in the field. they could not shut the mouths.

We did not use thrust vectoring tube but for some improvement we amended the thrust line bit up.

The picture below was takne right after second sortie. We had four sorties with satisfaction. Landing gear part of fuselage needs some more strength. The engine hatch cover was melt down(?) and flewn away in the sky due to heat and wet start.

Next time we will test Thrust Tube. Please let us know if any freind have done it.

Shim,
Nice to hear your Rookie flies well. I have a brand new one in the box, which I have not started yet. Could you please expound on the problems with the landing gear mounts and hatch cover, so those of us who have not started or flown our models could gain from your experience.
Thanks.
