Default Tracy ?

Dunno if this might be close enough for you - Tracy Skyliners: http://www.tracyskyliners.com/

I'm not sure if anyone is flying ducted fans from there just now, but Chris Huhn & I recently joined the Tracy club so that we can fly our turbines there.

No obstructions for a long way, no problems with constrained areas to fly in, and a quiet club so that you hardly ever have to wait for the frequency pin. I'm not sure how long the runway is - maybe 700 ft ?

Gordon

If you really are in Bakersfield, then Madera is a great place to fly. Been there, it's a nice site, couple thousand feet of runway.

Or Fresno has a nice flying site too.

I assume that you mean MARCS ? I've flown there on & off for about 5 years (I joined when I was into the giant-scale racing scene, and we used that club for all test flights). They are a great bunch of guys.

I flew my DF's and giant-scale models at MARCS. Haven't taken the turbines down there due to the 400 ft hard ceiling that they work fairly hard to apply (there's a full-scale airport right next to the club).

Regs,

Gordon
