Default electrical ID tapes

When I install my servos, I put a "number tag" near the plug that will go into receiver. The leads are usually hidden under the servos so it is hard to follow them to their respective servo once the tray and servo is installed. I use a small "flip tablet", pages made of a plastic like material, on which ID strips are placed. (sort of like self stick stamps). I don't remember where I found this, but it is used by professional electricians to ID their wires with letters and numbers. I use a "B" for the battery lead, #2 for elevator, and so on........ These number and letter strips are about 1 1/4" inch long, by 1/4" wide, and the ones I have are made of a tape like material similar to the old style cloth adhesive tape. There are multiple letters/numbers on that strip. There are five,....... 1/4" characters on a strip. After wrapping around wire, I trim off excess and still have at least 2 characters visable. I need all the help I can get!!! ..lownslo....

Good idea. You can get them from Radio Shack and Fry's Electronics. If you have a Fry's nearby, they have excellent pricing on shrink tube, and many other (use your imagination) electrical items.
