The yoke is the plastic piece that slides over the transmission and differential shafts. This connects the drive shaft to those two parts. The yoke is the part that keeps failing on most T-MAXX 3.3's. You want to pry the universal joint (silver ball with small shafts coming out of it) from the yoke? Traxxas supplys a tool for that with the T-MAXX package. It looks like a silver wrench. Picture a small silver rectangle measuring about 1/2" by 3" long. On one end it has a small square cut out. The cut out gets put on one side of the universal joint and is used to spread the yoke and pop out the universal joint. Same way to put it in too. i wish I could show you. Hard to describe over the cumputer.

So could i get the drive shaft disconnected by getting one of those balls out?
Would it be just as easy to put back in?

There's a setscrew holding the yoke to the output shaft. remove the setscrew on both ends and the shaft comes right out. Take the plastic shafts, throw them in the trash and get yourself a set of metal driveshafts.

I wish i found that set screw before taking it all apart. Good thing is though i got the brake pad replaced. Now i just need to put the drive shaft back in. I will probably gat a upgrade if the stock ones break.
