Traxxas Nitro Stampede VS Redcat Volcano SV
I will be driving this car in a track that I made. My electric stampede does fine in it but I want a bit more power and speed. I relize these are beginner cars and I am not a beginner. The track is small so speed is not that big of an issue.However I will upgrade the engine to the OS .18CV-R or .18 TM. Which would handle the power better? Is there an electric starter to start the volcano (other than a starter box)?

Having used cars from both companies a lot lately, I'd go with the nitro stampede. Its a well rounded truck with lots of parts support all over the place. The Redcat cars are alright, but theyre basically just a domestic branding of knockoffs that have been floating around ebay for years. Theyre not great quality, and you can find the exact same cars on ebay under various other brand names for less.
