I would love to see some pictures of this thing going together. If anyone could post some it would be appreciated.

I'm building one of these as we speak. I'm going with the 25 fx . as this plane is light and I think flutter in the tail section is a very good possibility. Going to use one rudder and avoid the wire going across the back of the elevator.
Since balancing the plane, with out adding more weight I think 40's are a bit out of the game plan.
Although 2 Webra speed 32 would be possible.
I also think the tail booms are a little flimsy and may need to have a piece of fiberglass tape on them for added rigidity. or better yet spruce stringers. Hope to be flying in a week or two.
My 2 cents.

What size wire goes betweent the rudders? A 4-40 rod should be strong enough to prevent flutter.

hey guys, how easy would it be to do up some formers , add foam blocks betweenn them and fill out the booms? Would it even be worthwhile ? You could probably add your retracts then. Just a question ...please dont beat me up to bad.

I don't think it would be too hard at all to fill out those booms to improve the look. It'll add some weight, but most people tend to over engine anyway....

Default Flying reports ??

Hey Guys,

I have kept track of this thread and last month had several people close to flying. How about a couple reports on the flights?

How the final assembly went? Bad point, good points, what you would suggest / warn agains...

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Default Thanks !!

Thanks!

I should have probably searched for the continuation thread... Didn't think about it. Again, appreciate the help.

Mark
