Radio problems.

Radio problems.
Well, tomorrow WAS going to be the first time for me to run both trucks. The radio on the new truck is whack[:@]. When I turn it on the throttle goes haywire and I have isolated the problem to the radio. The truck is second hand (but just barely), will HPI replace it or will I have to buy one?

Swap crystals with the other, maybe thats the only problem. A new set can be bought for very little on ebay. A friend of mine is using crystals from the radio shack Xmods rc cars and you can get all 6 frequencies for 20$ i think, always good to have spares on hand.

Yes, I wish it was just the crystals but I already tryed that[&o]. I will have to get a new radio unless hpi will replace it.

they did my receiver under warranty.
i just scanned it and sent it in through an e-mail to them.

Well I called CS and they said ship it back and they would fix/replace it. Do I need to send a receipt with it because I forgot to ask? Oh yah I don't have one[
