Default Do electric motors need breaking in?

Do electric motors need breaking in? I always thought it was install n run. With a brush change and "true" after a certain amount of runs.

Just lift the wheels and run the car for 5 minutes at 1/2 throttle.

Motors with brushes and commutators benefit from a short break in, it allows the brushes to conform and find their fit with the commutator. Repeat whenever you get new brushes.

i was implying that the only reason its not brushless is because its nitro. if i could afford to convert it to brushless, believe me, i would
