Default Dont drive $2200 trucks into the ocean!

Thankfully all I did was kill my throttle servo, which is only going to cost me about $80. The steering servo would have been far more, along with the radio system. Engines fine of course. When I got home I took the entire thing apart, cleaned every part, sprayed WD-40 all over it, and cleaned it again.

The first video is what happened today (and resulted in the dead servo), the 2nd video is the same beach but a couple weeks back.

From the vid it didn't seem like it would cause to much damage(good thing it didn't). What truck is that anyway? $2200 (lost of aluminum)?

It looks and sounds like a 1/5 scale gasser prolly a fg?

I think you need to change the title to dont drive 3" from the water and expect nothign to go wrong...

Haha I know, I was pushing my luck. I was hoping to get one of those great shots where its right at the edge but still kicking up water in the rear, but the steering hit a snag and turned into the surf. It would have been nice about then to have a reverse function.
