Default TopFlite Monokote Smartstripe Tool

Wow,finally a crazy tool that actually works great! I bought one figuring it would just be another eye catching piece of junk like much of this type of stuff. It actually does cut very perfect stripes, and without a whole lot of effort too! Well spent $20. Stripes come in handy for putting over a "cover to cover" joint where you want to hide the imperfect cut lines like in these pictures. This was my first coverjob that I didnt use one solid piece of covering on the wings and fuse and I was able to hide the joint.

I like this thing!

Yup. Great tool. I use mine all the time when covering...
Another great use I stumbled across the other day was fixing a lousily cut seam on a very tight-radiused curve on the trailing edge of an elevator (where purple meets yellow). I cut a 3/32" strip (easy to do perfectly with that tooll) and ironed it down over the seam. I can't see with my bare eyes where I put the strip on from 6" away and the seam is perfectly straight now. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

1/128" precision if you use a 1/4 turn of the dial.

Very simple to use too.

Here's a closeup of the seam... It was impossible (for me) to cut it straight by hand.
