I'm getting a deal in a ST 2500 NIB, any thougths about this engine, I plan to use it in a Lanier 1.20 Edge 540T for hovering and 3D so donīt know if this will be enough power.

Do I have to change the Carb??

MDS 1.48 will be better??

I need to use FAI fuel in my airplanes so OS is probably out of the list.

These sre great engines! Mine spins an 18X8 Mezjlik at 8900 rpm with a Perry carb and an OS "F" plug. I also run 15% Omega fuel. If you run all castor oil fuel then 10 to 12% oil is ok. If you run a castor/synthetic blend then use atleast 16 to 18% total oil. 15% nitro runs fine in mine, but it is well broken in. Try 5% to start and then up it if you want.
